The Sick Sense
left/right/wrong (or, Rgb and You and Me) - The Sick Sense, Part 3
approx. 10 minutes
Phasing, color blending modes and the verbal transformation effect combine to create a sensory overload spurring a variety of auditory and visual hallucinatory phenomena and depth illusions, a series of techniques clinically proven to have salutary effects on chronophobia, depression, schizophrenia, and other maladies of the mind.
Note on the documentation below: This is a live performance. Due to limitations of frame rate and video-capture resolution, capturing high-quality detailed documentation of the performance for streaming preview is not possible. The documentation is quite muddy when dealing with areas of detail, and sections of the projects dealing with intense flicker phenomena are not well-represented. Certain auditory phenomena only occur at high volume and without headphones.
